WHAT IS A BIODOME ?

  • It's a building ecosystem in a closed environment under sustainable conditions. The biodome responsibility is to creates its own water, nutrients, and survives without any help from outside.

WHY IS A BIODOME USED?

  • Biodomes are used to preserve and try to recreate the natural existing biomes.

OUR COUNTRY

NIGERIA

  • Located in West, Africa
  • The capital is Abuja
  • Another name for Nigeria is "Giant of Africa"
  • Much of Nigeria is covered with plains and savannas.
  • Green plants grow everywhere
  • Today, most of the animals have been killed by hunters or their habitats have been destroyed .

OUR BIOME

SAVANNA

  • A savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with shrubs and isolated trees, which can be founded between a tropical rainforest and desert biome.
  • Tropical grasslands are located near the equator, between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn .
  • They cover much of Africa
