PRESENTATION OUTLINE

GOOD VS EVIL

BY ELISSA COOPER

THESIS

  • Our natural instincts show who we really are and generally speaking our instincts are bad

REASONS

  • Young boys turn savage
  • They stick a pigs head on a stick
  • The halocaust
  • 9/11 attack

SAVAGE BOYS

  • When the young boys were stranded on the island,
  • They split into two main groups, one more savage
  • Than the other. The more savage group stole fire and
  • One boys glasses. They also threw rocks on a boy and then
  • Dropped a boulder on his head.

PIGS HEAD

  • The savage group hunted and killed a pig
  • Then, they took its head and stuck it on a stick
  • They then started worshipping it

HALOCAUST

  • A man named Hitler tried to rid the world of
  • Everyone except those in his "perfect race"
  • He ended up killing millions of people and
  • Torturing them, just because of how they look

9/11 ATTACK

  • An organization hijacked American planes
  • And crashed them into major government buildings
  • They killed thousands of innocent people

CONCLUSION

  • Many people do good stuff, but
  • The bad things people do always seem
  • To be more affective to everyone
  • So, as a whole this is why people are bad

HUMAN NATURE

By: Elissa Cooper

THESIS

  • If you look back in history, you will see
  • a change in human nature, this means
  • Human nature can change in the future

REASONS

  • Two boys stepped up to be leaders
  • The boys mostly stuck together
  • They made their own society

TWO BOYS MAKE LEADERS

  • Jack and Ralph stuck stepped up to be leaders
  • And they directed the younger ones. They weren't
  • The best leaders and they made wrong decisions,
  • But they still stepped up.

BOYS STUCK TOGETHER

  • Even though at the end of the book they
  • Split into two groups, they watched out for each
  • Other and didn't make it a free for all and ran
  • Around the island by themselves.

THEIR OWN SOCIETY

  • The boys organized themselves and made their own
  • Rules. Against the contrary evidence, they showed
  • That there is good amongst the bad.

CONCLUSION

  • Evil is everywhere, but good is always
  • There as well. People are always there standing up
  • Against the bad. There's always a light at the end of
  • The tunnel.
