Slaves were people that are forced to work for their masters. Slaves had no rights, or got treated equally. They didn't get paid and had no freedom.

The Cause
Slavery occurred because of racism, and people thinking they're better and had more rights. It also occurred because of misjudging.

The Results
Slavery affected a big part of history. It affected history because of the long period for people to realize that everyone is equal.

The Resolution
The former president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, led to the end of slavery.
