ROOTS ROCK/HARD ROCK

• Roots rock combined elements of folk music, blues, country and rock 'n' roll. And, the genre was exemplified by its "back to basics" sound

THE BRITISH INVASION

• The British Invasion was when a large group of musicians from the U.K. became popular in the U.S. and moved here to improve their career and mix cultures
