Landscape
Idaho has three main provinces, and they are mountains, valleys, and plains. The highest mountain in Idaho is Mt. Borah, and it is 12,662 ft. above sea level! And the lowest valley in Idaho is only 770 ft. above sea level.

Climate/Region
Idaho is in the West region, but this state's weather is not effected by the ocean too much. But one thing that the ocean does effect is the precipitation. In North Idaho, they receive large amounts of rain and snow from the Pacific Coast. But in Southern Idaho, it is like a desert, because it is surrounded by mountains. Idaho is very temperate.

  • Idaho's state fruit is the hucklberry fruit.
  • Idaho has 3,100 miles of rivers. (More than any other state)
  • Idaho's largest city is Boise. (600,000 people)

STATE FLAG

There are a lot of great places to stay in Idaho, one is Silverwood Theme Park. This theme park is located just north of Coer d' Alene. This awesome theme park has over 70 rides, including 4 roller coasters! They even have a resturaunt, yum! This is a great place for kids!

Another great place to visit is Julia Davis park. This park is located in Boise, Idaho. The Julia Davis park was made in 1907. It is full of beautiful nature, and it is free to go to!

A very festive,fun, place to visit is the Idaho Potato Museum. This museum was made in 1913, and is located in Blackfoot, Idaho. This is a historical museum, and shows how to harvest potatoes and interesting facts about potatoes!
