The iPod is put together in one of the few Foxconn facilities in China.

Most The Foxconn factories in China are next to the ocean but there are so,e being main more inland. The original idea was for shipment, but Apple flies their products around.

LABOR

  • These workers tend to be unskilled.
  • Salaries are about $400 a month and they are given dorms and food.
  • The majority of workers gender is unspecified.

Apple is worth $624 billion and Foxconn is worth $128 billion too. These companies are both well of and able to support the manufacturing of these products.

This product has parts from all over the world and the inputs are not made close to each other. However they are all brought to China to be put together at Foxconn.

Technology has not changed the location at which the products are made for these products are smaller and are able to be transported easily. They are transported by plane from the factory to the destination in which these products are sold.
