STEM CELL RESEARCH:
What is it?
Stem cells have the potential to develop into several different types of cells in the body during early growth and early life.it is also known as an immature cell that has potential to become specialized into different types of cells within the body.

STEM CELL RESEARCH:
What is the purpose of it?
Stem cells can be saved and used as a later date to produce specialized cells, when needed.

STEM CELL RESEARCH:
How is it being used today?
It provides life-saving treatments for patients with lymphoma, leukemia, other blood disorders, and some solid tumors.

STEM CELL RESEARCH:
Example?
-cultivating stem cells to repair broken bones
-injecting modified stem cells directly into the brain after a stroke, or into the eyes to restore vision after an injury

CLONING:
What is it?
organisms that are exact genetic copies

CLONING:
What is the purpose of it?
To make more of one type.
Medical purposes has the potential to benefit large numbers of people.

CLONING:
How is it being used today?
It is used to create embryonic cells.

CLONING:
Example?
Insects bacteria and plants
Eggs sperms or etc.

RECOMBINANT DNA:
What is it?
Form of artificial DNA which is created by combining two or more sequences that would not normally occur together.

RECOMBINANT DNA:
What is the purpose of it?
To study genetics, biochemistry, and molecular biology

RECOMBINANT DNA:
How is it being used today?
It can be used in medicine and human biology.

RECOMBINANT DNA:
Example?
One plant and one animal
To cure or fix things
