POPULATION GROWTH

  • Not a large impact
  • Irish people don't use cars often because it's expensive so there's not a lot of pollution in that area
  • Ireland is powered mainly by renewable energy
  • Windmills are costly and it causes greenhouse gases to rise

POLLUTION

  • There's a lot of water pollution and it causes oxygen depletion
  • Air pollution is the second largest type in Ireland, this includes acid rain and greenhouse gases
  • Climate pollution is another type and greenhouse gas emissions are a part of this too

FOSSIL FUELS AND GLOBAL WARMING

  • Health problems can occur from the fossil fuels released into the air
  • Global warming has caused an increase in the overall temperature of the earth and sea levels
  • Burning fossil fuels in Ireland go to their homes to be used for energy

HABITAT DESTRUCTION

  • Deforestation happens to make more room for agriculture
  • Man-made dams can prevent animals from building their aquatic homes
