Newtons 2nd Law
By Jonathan
2.
Formulas
Acceleration=force/mass A=F/M
Force=Mass x acceleration F=MA
Impulse=Force x time applied
3.
2nd LAw
An impulse is a change in momentum
More mass means you need more force to move it
Less Mass means you need less force to move it
The 2nd law describes how an object accelerates or changes direction when a force is applied.
4.
Examples
If a toy car has a mass of 5 grams and an acceleration of 5 in/s
It's force will be 25 square inches of force
If a car has a mass of 1000 grams and an acceleration of 60 m/h
It will have an acceleration of 60000 pounds of force per square foot
