Essential Question: What are the concepts we need to understand for the unit?

Purpose of unit:
This unit will be supporting your History class. We will research and write an argumentative paper based on the Civil War.

We will do this by viewing:
propaganda, political cartoons, fliers, speeches, and other historical documents

Once we have viewed several documents and written an argumentative paper we will create a cartoon, a speech, and present using rhetorical devices

This lesson will be built on learning the vocabulary we will need for the unit.
