RUTHENIUM(IV) OXIDE

  • RuO2
  • Physical description:
  • The aim of this thesis was to investigate the physical and electrochemical properties of sub monolayer and monolayer of copper deposition on the polycrystalline iridium, ruthenium and its conductive oxide
  • Usages: the coating of titanium anodes for the electrolytic production of chlorine and for the preparation of resistors or integrated circuits.

Ruthenium

  • Number of Protons/Electrons: 44 Number of Neutrons: 57
  • Uses: platinum alloys
  • Description: Rare hard brittle silvery metal, which is unaffected by air water and acids, but is dissolved by molten alkalis.
  • State: solid charge: positively charged
