Limerick

Hi guys! Today we are going to tell you about limericks!

A limerick is a silly poem which always has five lines. They are usually funny.

How to write a limerick

• Think of something to write about (ex) Pie
• Make your first sentence, limericks often start with.... There once was a
• Make the second, third, and fourth sentences
• Make your ending sentence
• Tip, Make the sentences rhyme, they will sound better

Example

• There once was a boy that liked to eat pie
• He could eat twenty pies, without even a try
• One day, he got way too fat
• He couldn't even chase a cat
• And then, after eating lots of pie, he had a heart attack, and he died.
