  • Repetition of sounds to create a musical effect.
  • Created by using the same number of words or phrases
  • Gives the poem a beat.

  • Similie- Compares using "like" or "as"
  • Metaphor- Compares 2 things
  • Personification- gives human like qualities to non- human objects.
