Current Studies of treatments

  • Scientists are testing animals with the virus, possible treatments to humans.
  • Doctors are working on transporting the infected to more functional hospitals.

Basic facts

  • The average fatality rate is 50%
  • Bleeding is more common In late stages of ebola
  • Ebola medication is being created
  • Ebola is known as ebola haemorrhagic fever.
  • Ebola starter in 1976
  • The current ebola outbreak is happening in Guinea

Possible Worries

  • Based on the American lifestyle, many people are able to transport disease.
  • Americans should be worried about a possible outbreak in the US. because it wil take lots of time, and too many infected for people to realize it is an auctual outbreak
  • Americans may also brush it off for another disease and not take it seriously.

Transmitions to research

  • One of the larger areas to study preventatives on is the excretion of bodily fluids.
  • The Ebola virus increased the output of fluids and makes it easier to transmit the virus.
  • If scientists can minimize the excretion of fluids, they can try to stop the outbreak by a margin.
