SYMBIOSIS

Symbiosis is a close relationship between 2 species that benefits at least 1 of the species. (3 types)

MUTUALISM

Mutualism is a symbiotic relationship in which both species benefit. A bee is a great example of Mutualism because the bee gets the nectar from the flower and he also picks up the pollen and spreads the pollen.

COMMENSALISM

Commensalism is a relationship in which one species benefits and the other is neither helped or harmed.

A bat and a tree is a great example of commensalism. Because the bat benefitting by sleeping on the tree and the tree doesn't care.

PARASITE

Parasitism a relationship in which an organism lives in or on another organism and harms the other specie.

Termites are a great example of parasitism. Because the termites eat threw the tree and the tree gets harmed.

PREDATOR AND PREY

A bear is the predator because the bear is hunting the fish and the fish is the prey because the fish is getting hunted.
