SNOWY OWLS

Most are coming from Atlantic Canada, the Northeast U.S.
Their golden colored eyes are small.
Their claws are thickly covered with feathers.
They are among the largest North American owl species.

SNOWY OWLS

Snowy owls are highly nomadic.
They are very aggressive.
They don't like to be touched.
They hunt in the day time.

SNOWY OWLS

They eat mice,rats,moles,and rabbits.
Their mostly in the air.
Their never like to be disturbed.
They have some long wings.

SNOWY OWLS

They hunt from an elevated position.
They can also catch fish.
Also crustaceans.
It takes about 50 days before a new born ole to fly.

SNOWY OWLS

There about 290,000 snow owls in the world.
They aren't endangered.
They are usually killed by cars or power lines.
They have to migrate for food.
