TIDES ARE THE MOON PULLING ON THE EARTH WATER

  • If you are on the coast and the moon is directly above or below you its a high tide.
  • Typically, there are two neap tides and spring tides a month.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF TIDES

  • Flood currents: occur when the sea level is rising to high
  • Tides, flowing towards the shore away from the ocean.
  • Ebb current: when the current ebbs, or drops to a low tide.
  • Slack current: No current, exact time of high or low tide.
