PRESENTATION OUTLINE
R
R is for Rebellion, the Harvard degrees live a rebellious life. The cops do not care about them because they can't necessarily make a big impact. They choose to be hobos because it means they can continue preserving the books they care about inside their heads.
S
S is for Sun, the sun always burns, this countries system burns. Everything burns, except for Montag now that he has left the system. He still burns, but not to burn books, but to get rid of evidence , he now keeps the book in his mind were nobody can destroy it.
T
T is for Teenagers, the teenagers that almost hit Montag were wreckless. The reason they didn't hit him is because he fell and if they ran him over then, they themselves would get hurt. The teenagers didn't care about anything but themselves, if they didn't want to get killed the just wanted the joy of killing
U
U is for Ugly duckling, ugly ducklings are ugly and then soon become attractive. Montag had been a fireman who burnt books. He soon changed from his ugly stage and blossomed and learned how books are good, making him a beautiful swan.
V
V is for Vagabond, the hobos on the tracks are Harvard degrees. They are old washed up English professors who still believe that they can make a difference, no matter what it take. These men don't care what happens to them as long as the books, which give lessons can live on.
W
W is for Watched, when Montag was being chased, people woke from sleeping to watch the chase. They didn't just want to watch the chase, they wanted death in three walls of HD tv. This shows how emotionally detached they are, they don't care if the person dies, they don't care about all the efforts that person had made to go through each day.
X
X is for X marks the spot, the bombs had fallen on the city. The city had fallen because it ignored the threats of the war. These people believe they cannot be hurt because of how they were raised, they were raised with no worries.
Y
Y is for Yang, in this society it is all supposedly happiness. For this society to work they need yin, the bad side of things. Books bring the yin, the society will fall with only yang, but will survive with yin and yang.
Z
Z is for Zany, the people in this society are controlled by television practically. They watch people on tv who are zany who don't supposedly come to be in this country. However Montag is zany because he loves books now.
