What is hacking?
Hacking is be able to break through a website that has already been made and change the website. Although hacking is sometimes used for bad like putting personal information it is still used for learning and good. For example hacking is also used for programing because if you are hacking a website you need to program it to do what you want so programing can be used to program video games, iphones and robots that can help us.

What is the effect of hacking?
The effect of hacking depends on the type of hacking, if you are hacking to program a robot or hacking into a computer to stop a weapon. Some hacking has a bad effect on people, for example putting personal information online from a website.

Should children learn code?
Nobody really knows, lots of parents are not against it. There are many websites made for children such as "code.org". Learning hacking is not a bad thing to do, hacking is programing and programing can be used for good, for example programing websites and robots and maybe even programing something that can help somebody or many people in a great way. It depends if the parent will let there child learn programing and code and to me code and programing is great for children.

How hacking works
Hacking is binary, if you would like to learn more about binary watch Finn Neher's slide about Binary. Hacking weakens the website's binary which makes it easier to hack into the website, to make the website weaker they have to use a series of 1 and 0s for example if I would like to write "Bubbles" it would transfer to 01000010 01110101 01100010 01100010 01101100 01100101 01110011. Websites are also made out of binary so you would have to use binary to make the website or anything your hacking into.

Is hacking good?
Many people think it's bad. When you think of hacking you think of people going into accounts, spreading information or doing something bad. I think it really just depends. People can use hacking for good to, They can hack into a weapon system and stop a nuclear bomb thats about to go off. But there is also a bad side, You can use hacking to set off that nuclear bomb. To sum this up, Hacking can be good in certain ways but can also be used for bad.

Like I said in my last slide "Is hacking good?" I showed that hacking can be used for many different reasons.

My thinking
I think that hacking is good, of corse you would still have to think about the bad effects of hacking but if you think about the good side of hacking you can realize that hacking is not just used for bad and that it is also used for good. What you think?
