PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Actors relax and warm up in order to be alert and ready to respond as they perform. Warm-ups help the actor not to be nervous.

PREPARING

  • All serious actors do some sort of warm up before a rehearsal, audition, or performance.
  • You must warm up vocally and physically.

WHY WARM UP?

  • Would any athlete go and play a game without warming up? Of course not
  • Warms ups also prepare your voice and body, and relax you before a performance.
  • It will also help you appreciate your character more.

  • Read the rhyme below with clarity and emphasis.
