PRESENTATION OUTLINE

NUCLEUS

IT SUPPORTS AND SHAPES THE CELL
The nucleus is like the principal's office because the DNA is in the nucleus and runs everything. The principal's office is like the nucleus because it is the head of the school and everything revolves around it.

CYTOSKELETON

IT SUPPORTS AND SHAPES THE CELL

ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM

IT IS A CONNECTED NETWORK OF THIN FOLDED MEMBRANES.
An endoplasmic reticulum forms a maze of enclosed spaces and produces lipids and proteins. The school hallway connects the school together and allows students to get to their destination. The school hallway may consist of lockers, which holds the student's books. Books allow students to produce good grades, which is like how the ER produces proteins and lipids.

RIBOSOME

THEY LINK AMINO ACIDS TOGETHER TO FORM PROTEINS
Since ribosomes link amino acids to create proteins, it is just like how the teachers work together to make up the school.

GOLGI APPARATUS

IT PROCESSES, SORTS, AND DELIVERS PROTEINS
So the Golgi apparatus delivers the news of the school just like the office runners delivering news to the classrooms.

VESTICLES

THEY TRANSPORT MATERIALS THROUGHOUT THE CELLJL
The vesicles transfer materials within a cell, just like the postal service and shipping services deliver letters/packages to the families of the school.

MITOCHONDRIA

IT CONVERTS MOLECULES FROM YOUR FOOD INTO ENERGY.
The mitochondria converts your food into energy. When you eat at the cafeteria, you receive energy to continue for the rest of the day.

VACUOLE

IT STORES MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE CELLS.
Since the vacuoles store crucial data, the databases of the school store all the information about the students and teachers.

LYSOSOMES

IT DEFENDS THE CELL FROM INVADING BACTERIA AND VIRUSES.
Just like the lysosomes protects the cell, security guards protects the school.

CENTRIOLES

IT PRODUCES MICROTUBULES AND AIDS IN CELL DIVISION.
Centrioles help when it comes for the time for cells to divide. When the time comes for seniors to graduate, counselor help them to fulfill their credits and choose a suitable college.

CELL WALLS

IT GIVES PROTECTION, SUPPORT, AND SHAPE TO THE CELL.
Like the cell wall protects the school, the school gate protects the school from invaders.

CHLOROPLASTS

IT CAPTURES AND CONVERTS ENERGY.
The chloroplasts capture and convert energy. The admissions a office "captures" good candidates for the school and "converts" them into a student of their school.
