  • Their homes where called tipis.
  • The tipis where easy to travel with.
  • Tipis where about 12 feet in hight.
  • The Native Americans had to build them bigger later so they could fit the horses in their house

  • They where corn farmers as well as hunters.
  • They ate buffalo,elk,and deer.
  • They collected berries.
  • They used every part of the animal.
  • They ate fish.

  • The men where responsible for defending and feeding their family's.
  • The women where responsible for the tipis.

  • Men wore war cloths when they hunted.
  • Women made the cloths

  • Most of their cloths where made out of animal skins
