URBAN/ RURAL

  • Most people live in urban areas
  • Some live in the countryside
  • North America is mostly urbanized

FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS

  • Family sizes vary
  • Kids are raised by parents
  • They move out at age 18
  • Some still live with parents
  • Most live on their own w/new family

SOCIAL STRUCTURE

  • Mainly divided into upper, middle, and lower classes.
  • Canada's wealth is more spread out having six classes
  • In America, there is a big gap in between middle and lower classes.
  • classes aren't restricted to anyone. You can join if you meet the standards.

LITERATURE AND ARTS

  • Music can range from country to hip hop
  • Painting, sculpturing, and photography are forms of art relevant here.
  • There are also a lot of classical bands including like the Chicago Brass.
  • Some important artists here are Barnett Newman and Winslow Homer
  • You can also see many different types of clothing here in North America.

  • The real estate industry is used to purchase homes
  • You can have homes, condos, and apartments in cities
  • We use forest land to expand our city or metroplex.

TRADING NETWROKS

  • USA purchases oil from Canada and the Middle East
  • They exchange vehicles, vehicle parts, and medical supplies for export.
  • America and Canada are also a part of NAFTA

  • Some minorities include French and Arabic peoples
  • As well as Indian andRussian peoples
  • Men and women in this region are treated equally because
  • The governments provides them with unalienable rights and privileges.
