Amir gets jealous of Hassan because baba likes him more than Amir his own son. Pg 51
After the kite fighting tournament Amir asked Baba if they could go to Jalalabad on friday.Baba said that he should ask Hassan if we wanted to go. Amir wanted to do something with his father for once without Hassan with. pg 86
Amir said " It should have been just the two of us that's the way I wanted it."
The book tells you that you shouldn't be jealous of someone that gets more attention than you if your a true friend to that person you wouldn't let it get to you, and everyone gets more attention than others we just have to deal with it. Because there might have been that time in your life that you got more attention than someone.
