Infinitives

Infinitive are the most basic verb

Spanish infinitives always end in -ar, -er, -ir

Examples:

correr, bailar, escribir

Infinitives will almost always begin with "to", However an infinitive will loose its "to" when it follows certain verbs

Example:

feel, hear, help

Infinitives can be used many several different ways without any conjunction.

The most common uses of infinitives are to indicate the purpose or intention of an action (where "to" has the same meaning as in order to."
