HISTORY

• This mountain has the heads of George Washington,Lincoln,Jefferson,and roosevelt
• The carvings were built in 1927 and was finished in 1941 (14 yrs)
• It took 400 men to carve this mountain
• The men who carved the heads were mostly miners
