3 components of an accomplishment

• Think about a problem that existed.
• What action did you take to resolve that problem?
• What were the beneficial results of your action(s)?

Example: Babysitting

Typical: "I watched 2 kids for my neighbors...

Better: "Established positive relationships with 2 preschoolers of the same family, who had a history of behavioral issues."

Or: "Increased children's interest in outdoor activities by creating safe and educational lawn activities for 2 children ages 4 and 6."

Notice the absence of the word "I". Do not use first person, it is implied.
