1) PLAGUE

  • This is the number one reason because the plague
  • Killed thousands of citizens. This left citizens to be unable to work which
  • Hurt the production to benefit Rome. Many deaths occurred and people were leaving Rome.
  • The Plague killed the production and growth rate of Rome.

2) THE SPLITTING OF ROME

  • Splitting Rome in half cause internal conflict.
  • It caused war inside Rome and made them weak.
  • When Rome was weak and poor they got attacked various times
  • And they lost most power.

3) POPULATION INCREASE

  • Population became too much and they
  • Became very hard to govern. They over expanded causing
  • Too much land for immigrants.
