THE AQUARIUM

Flashlight fish
(Anomalops katoptron)
5inches (12cm)
Caribbean Reefs
17 to 163 feet depths
Zooplankton, soon fish
Since they are active at night and are often found in deep waters, it is hard for collectors in the pet trade to catch flashlightfish.
Symbiotic relationship with glowing bacteria
As I observed I saw their glow greenish.

Red-Tailed cat fish
(Phractocephalus hemioliopterus)
Largest catfish
Unable to use visual clues to track prey in their dark habitat so they use electrical field sensors to find their prey
The redtail catfish is native to the Amazon, Orinoco, and Essequibo river basins of South America. It is found only in fresh water.
Extremely popular
Was first described by Bloch and Schneider in 1801
Doesn't look like any fish I would get get close to or catch
