What center core of golf ball goes the furthest with modern golf technology?

Hypothesis: I believe that the two piece golf ball made today will go the furthest due to the increased amount of dimples, thinner and more aerodynamic core, and softer outer cover.

MATERIALS

• Feathery Golf ball
• Gutta percha golf ball
• Haskell golf ball
• Two piece older golf ball
• Two piece newer golf ball

PROCEDURE

• Schedule time to reserve a golf hole with the local country club
• Drive to golf course
• Go to reserved golf hole
• Use Nike Covert 2.0 driver for experimentation
• Set up launch monitor to track distance and club head spead
• Tee up the ball each time the height of the club face
• Hit each model of golf ball a hundred times at a certain club head speed range
• Do this until club head speed is at a certain range
• Leave course
• Go home
• Collect and average out data
• Record data
