How many pencils do you have in your desk?

24 students in 3rd grade - 12 boys & 12 girls - were asked to count the pencils in their school desk.

The average is between 1 and 2.  34/24

The most people had 2 pencils in their desks

If I sort the data from least to greatest, the middle is between 1 and 2 pencils

The greatest amount of pencils was 3

The least amount of pencils was zero

3-0 = 3

Most people in the class follow the rules and have less than 3 pencils in their desks
