Central America is an isthmus connecting North and South America

The Caribbean is made up entirely of islands

Greater Antilles are the large islands of the Caribbean

Lesser Antilles are the small islands of the Caribbean

Most of the climate is tropical or subtropical

There are frequent hurricanes in the Caribbean

Central America and Caribbean have many rainforests

Maya was the main native culture in Central America

The Arawaks and Caribs were the early natives in the Caribbean

Slaves, sugar, tobacco, and guns formed the triangular trade with Europe and Africa

Many natives were in slavery during the triangular trade
