WHAT IS PLUTOCRACY?

• Government by the wealthy
• Elite or ruling class whose power derives from their wealth

It can be argued that the United States is a Plutocracy. Nearly every politician is extremely wealthy, and politicians control the government. The people technically have power, but congress has the power to deny the people's wishes.
