  • Bodies of water including ponds, streams, and lakes.
  • Over 10,000 different species of plants, and over 1,050 species of animals.
  • The himalayas are jagged mountains, covered in snow and ice.

SEASONAL ATTRACTIONS

  • The giant himalayan lily is a sight to see!
  • It can take five - seven years to reach full maturity
  • The final year of growing during the summer, the bulb reaches maturity.
  • The lilies can be up to ten feet long, and twenty can bloom at one time.
  • Spring and summer are the best two seasons to visit with flowers in full bloom.

  • Gets colder as elevation increases, and wetter as elevation drops.
  • Sudden monsoons, snow storms, and high winds.
  • Average temperature is 47 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Lowest temp. is 33 degrees, and the highest is 56 degrees.
  • Average precipitation is 16 inches per year.
