YAMATO
Became the flagship of the Japanese combined fleet.
Led by Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto.
Launched on August 8, 1940.
Named after Yamato Providence.
Unable to achieve speeds higher than 27 knots.(50 km, 32 miles)

MUSASHI
Built for imperial Japanese navy.
Launched November 1, 1940.
"Sister" of the battleship Yamato.
Used to transfer equipment in 1944.
Torpedoed in early 1944 by an American submarine.

T-11
First light machine gun the Japanese invented themselves.
Held 5 clips on the left side, so any one could put ammunition in the gun
Weighed 22.5 pounds empty.
5.
NAMBU PISTOL
Produced in 1935.
carried eight 8 x 21.5mm nambu rounds.
The nambu is one of the worlds worst guns manufactured.
A problem with this pistol was the exposed sear.
If enough pressure was on the sear, the gun would fire.
6.
ARISAKA TYPE 99 RIFLE
Manufactured 1939-1945.
Replacement of the type 38 rifle.
Used the most until surrendered to allied forces.
