  • Sparta was ruled by a Oligarchy
  • Controlled by a group of people and made decisions together in a group

  • The people that can participate in making decisions for this government is just a few people, especially one in which rule is based upon health.
  • The wealthy people loved the Oligarchy because they could be part of it. The poor people did not like it because they had no say on what goes.

TYRANNY

  • Powerful individual who gained controll of a city states government by appealing to the poor for support.
