  • Lyme disease is pass on through a vector
  • Weather can sometimes stop the vector from spreading the disease
  • The summer time is a more likely way for the disease to be spreaded
  • The most known vector for Lyme disease is a tick
  • Summer time is the season where Lyme disease occurs most

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE DISEASE

  • Deer are the one who carry the disease
  • Lyme disease is caused by bacteria called Borrelia burgdorferi
  • It is transmitted from deer and mice through ticks
  • Lyme disease mostly occurs in grassland and deciduous forest region
  • Not contagious only transmitted

THE BEGINNING OF LYME DISEASE

  • The first report of Lyme disease was in Connecticut 1977
  • Treatment is provided for 14-21 days
  • It is also in connection with heart block that progress very fast

SYMPTOMS FOR LYME DISEASE

  • Chest pain
  • Lightheadedness
  • Fainting
  • Shortening of breath
