LEWIS CARROLL (by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson)

He was born on January 27, 1832 in the rectory in the village of Daresbury

ALL IN THE FAMILY WAS 7 GIRLS AND BOY 4.

He began to study at home. Was left-handed.

At 12 he enrolled in a private school near Richmond.

But in 1845 he had to go to school Rugby. Then went to Oxford.

HE STARTED TO WRITE IN COLLEGE.

He wrote poetry, short stories, send them in the wording of a pseudonym.

Lewis Carroll - pseudonym of the writer.

Is derived from the author's real name Charles Latvidzh.

In 1864, he wrote "Alice in Wonderland"

Shortly before this came a new dean with his wife and daughter, 4 years old ex-Alice.

VISITS RUSSIA in 1867.

Wrote "Diary of a journey to Russia in 1867".

Well as writing books on mathematics

Fond of photography

Died on January 14 1898 in Guildford, Surrey.

He was buried there with his brother and sister on the mount cemetery
