PAYING FOR COLLEGE

GRANTS

• Do not have to be paid back unless money is withdrawn from the school
• To receive one, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA)
• FASFAs are used to fin your Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
• Awarded based on financial need

SCHOLARSHIPS

• Don't need to be paid back
• Awarded through merit; examples include high grades and/or athletic ability
• Each one has different deadlines and requirements

WORK STUDY

• Provides a part-time job to those in college
• Available to both graduates and undergraduate
