2. ADD SLIDES

INTRODUCE YOURSELF

TAKE A PICTURE, OR CHOOSE ONE FROM CAMERA ROLL
You can take your own photos right from the app, or pull them in from your Camera Roll or from Dropbox, Flickr, Facebook, Instagram, Google Drive, or Picasa.

This can be handy if you want to work with a specific batch of images.

CONTACT INFO

SOLID COLOR BACKGROUND: PICK YOUR FAVORITE
To choose a solid color background, tap the blue image icon, then set the "Use Image?" toggle on the right to NO. Then choose your favorite color.

I like to use solid color backgrounds to introduce sections or groupings in my presentation---like I've done in this one.

3. FORMATTING

CHOOSE A THEME

THAT SUITS YOUR PERSONALITY OR MOOD
Haiku Deck includes a variety of professionally designed themes. Look for the THEME/FONTS handle at the top of your screen, then choose one that matches your personality or your mood.

Optional image filters for each theme give your deck a cohesive, polished look.

ADJUST TEXT LAYOUTS

KEEP THEM CONSISTENT
Click the green layout button to adjust the position of your text on each slide.

Most presentation experts recommend keeping your text in the same spot for each slide (as I've done here), but you can also tweak it to better fit with different images you've selected.

From this screen you can also choose big on top/small on bottom, only big, only small, or flip them so the small is on top and the big is on bottom.
