PERSONALIZED NAME ILLUSTRATIONS

You are going to create your first or last name using objects to create the illusion of letters. For example, a candy cane for a “j”. You need to have a minimum of four letters. Make sure you fill the space—you may have to add background objects. The objects you use need to represent who you are. Be creative and informative.

Steps

• What name are you going to use?
• Decide what objects you could use to represent you? What do you like? Dislike? Where do you like to go? What do you like to eat? Listen to? Read?
• How can you make these things look like the letters in your name? Sketch you ides.

Last Steps

• Get you ideas approved by Mrs. Wickerham
• Draw everything lightly on the final paper.
• Add color with colored pencil--we will practice first!! There is a right way and a wrong way!
