Dian Fossey

• 1963 she went on a seven week safari trip
• Dain developed an interest in mountain gorillas
• Dian wanted to see them in their natural habitat
• She returned to Kentucky and her Job
• Three years later,Louis Leakey visited Dian about the gorillas.

• Leakey gave Dian permission to have a look around some newly excavated sites while she was at Olduvai.
• She fell and she was more resolved then ever she wanted to find the gorillas
• In 1966 she returned to Africa she went on a walk and saw a gorilla in Rwandan mountain forest
