MY INQUIRY

BY NON

MY QUESTION

WHY DOES SOAP MAKE BUBBLES? HOW DOES SOAP MAKE BUBBLES?

My hypothesis and theory

I think there is a chemical that is in the soap and when we add water and scrub it the chemical from the soap spreads out because the soap is probably heavier than water.

Why I think my hypothesis is true

I think my hypothesis is true because I poured water with soap and bubbles and this was the result

Bottom:soap
Center:water
Top:bubbles

THE SOAP I USED

SOME WERE DIFFERENT KINDS OF SOAP S IT WOULD GIVE A DIFFERENT RESULT

What is it about:

Chemistry is all about different types of stuff -or substances,to use a scientific word. It's all about what substances are, what they can do,what's inside them and how they change.

The book called :
What's chemistry all about

What I think about chemistry and my inquiry:
I started to look into chemistry be cause my inquiry was about soap and I thought soap is similar to chemicals and potions which are chemistry.

WHY I HAD THIS QUESTION IN MY MIND

I thought of this question because being a scientific thinker needs to observe things even though it is really simple. So one night I was taking a bath then I washing my hair, then I washed the shampoo of but I saw that there was soap and foam so I started to make predictions and theories.

CONCLUSION AND RESULTS

My results and conclusion

My results were that bubbles are created by soap because the soap is a kind of chemical that doesn't harm us but does lots of things.I also Think that (but I am not so sure about this one) the water takes away the weight in the soap and when we rub it with force it spreads out and turns into bubbles.
