John Paul Jones
was the first well known naval-fighter in the Revolutionary War
Nathan Hale was a soldier for the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War. He volunteered for an Intelligence-gathering in New York City but was captured and executed by the British. He is best remembered for his last words, "I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country." He is now considered an American Hero.
Peter Salem was an African American soldier in the Revolutionary War. In the Battle of bunker Hill, he fired his last shot that killed British Marine Major John Pitcairn.
Patrick Henry created committees of correspondence to coordinate British Activities in the Revolutionary War. He also had a speech known as "Give me liberty, or give me death."
Marquis de Lafayette was a French aristocrat and military officer for the Revolutionary War.
