HOW DO MICROBES EFFECT OUR BODY?

  • Bacterial infections disrupt the normal functions of the body and cause all kinds of illnesses. They injure the cells and tissues of the body, compromise the immune system, and deplete nutrients in the body.

  • They can boost our immune system.
  • They protect our body from pathogens.
  • They protect us from auto-Immune diseases.

HOW CAN MICROBES HARM OUR BODY?

  • A few harmful microbes, for example less than 1% of bacteria, can invade our body and make us ill.
  • Microbes cause infectious diseases such as flu and measles.
  • Disease is when the infection causes damage to the individual's vital functions or systems.
