What is Solar Energy
Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity, either directly using
solar panels, or indirectly using concentrated solar power (CSP). Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam. Solar panels convert light into an electric current using the photovoltaic effect.

ADVANTAGES

• Solar power is renewable
• Solar does not release toxins into the air
• Solar energy houses don't need an external power source.

DISSADVANTAGES

• Solar panels cost a lot of money
• There is no efficient way to store solar energy
• You need sun to make energy
