a lot of time online

Published on Jan 24, 2026

As someone who spends a lot of time online and often reads various sources, I couldn't pass up an article on https://london-post.co.uk/from-bondi-to-the-timeline-how-antisemitism-travels-from-social-media-to-murder-scenes/ without giving it some thought. It does not simply describe the phenomenon, but shows the mechanisms by which old forms of hatred adapt to new technologies and continue to live on in society. What struck me most was the idea that the danger is not always in overt malice or aggression, but in subtle, seemingly "neutral" phrases and intentions that are repeated and accumulate to the point where they are no longer just words. This reminds us that each of us can be part of the solution if we pay attention to the language we support or tolerate around us and do not allow hatred to become the "new normal."
