SKIN CANCER
Skin cancer is the abnormal growth of skin cells most often develops on skin exposed to the sun.

HOW AND SYMPTOMS

  • Skin cancer is caused by a mixture of:
  • Genetic and behavioral factors
  • One of the most common causes is sun damage
  • Usually starts as a mole on the skin
  • It grows in size if not treated, and can itch and cause bleeding.

SYSTEM EFFECTED AND TREATMENT

  • Skin cancer effects the integumentary system
  • Skin cancer is usually treated with chemotherapy
