How did the Reformation began

• The way that the reformation began was and a big conflict with europe 
• It all started with the pope getting into politics 
• And John Calvin would see that the rules with they clergy were wrong 
• And that how it all divide into different religion 
• The religions are Calvinism, Lutherism,  and Angelicanism

• The beginning of calvinism started with John calvin
• He led a church in Geneva, Switzerland
• Calvinist lived by strict rules that they felt its good to be a christian 
• And faith was part of his daily life 
• Calvin took over the leadership of the reform movement in Geneva

• People believed that they should entirely depend in God 
• Religious faith and salvation were God's gift to elect 
• Calvinists believe that the elect could be known by their actions
• The reason for good behavior was to honor god and to buy salvation 
• They thought that the world was fulled with opportunity's to sin

• Calvinist attended church five times a week 
• They taught how to live according to the bible  
• Mans sat on one side Women & children sat on the other side 
• And would talk about the bible and ask questions 
• And if they got it wrong they would get punished 

Community life

• They believed that that community life should be a theocracy
• They also established communities in which and state were united 
• Calvinist communities had strict laws based on the bible
• The same rules applied to rules at home 
• Church inspected homes to see they were living the strict laws of calvinst
