Chapter 25

  • In Frankenstein, after Victor has finished his creation, he trembles with fear and realizes his mistake. From a perspective by a reader contemporary to this book, they could see how Victor being petrified and not saying anything. This thing is so frightening and if he had said anything to anyone, they would claim him mad. From another perspective and in a different time period, a person would not keep quiet. A person today would scream for their lives. People are more aware of how scary things can be today then they could be in Geneva. Things are constantly being discovered each day in the twenty-first century compared to the eighteen-hundreds. The assumption that a person would not admit to something so unbelievable is true back then however it no longer applies to today's time period.

Its all about your point of view
